Attended CinemaCon 2019 closing awards which had a mix of everything we enjoy in entertainment. Award winner Seth Rogen stood out with his irreverent humor with straight women played by Charlize Theron ‘Let’s talk about Coke for an hour, you’ve had some right!?’ (evening sponsor) ‘Is this real, not real – holding his award’ poking fun at an industry that gives itself awards and uses event stages for self-serving. But other award winners like Octavia Spencer – impressive show reel – what a deserving tribute. Charmed by Henry Golding and wowed by director Olivia Wilde who is so much more then we knew. Her new feature, Booksmart looks funny, heartfelt – a must see for me. And the box office, despite a dismal Q1 the product coming the balance of 2019 looks extra-ordinary. And this is good for all who love movies.
